Show SCHOOL BOARD BUYS NEW BUS The school board tackled teacher problems, discussed building of two steel structures for gyms and and opened bids for a new school bus last Wednesday Wed-nesday in Beaver. A discussion of teacher status, stat-us, negotiations and applications took considerable time between the board and supertendent. Two bids were submitted for a new bus, one from Riley's for $17,176.58 and Bryson $16,-589.30. $16,-589.30. Approved district participation partici-pation on State Retirement board. Discussed loss of special distribution unit which was cut by the state board, due to loss of enrollment. Raised hourly rate (retroactive) (retro-active) from $3.50 per hour to $4.50. Received $784.50 check from the Beaver Lions who agreed to raise half of the cost of Parkas for the Beaver Football Foot-ball team. |
