Show LDS lhurch, served as counselor counsel-or in the Relieef Society six years. Worked in the Primary, MIA and Sunday School. She was born May 13. 1897 at Enoch, Iron County, a daughter daugh-ter of Sylvester Frazer and Mary Alice Melling Jones. She married Morris Burton Lyman Nov. 23, 1915 at Parowan. This marriage later solemnized in the St. George Temple. Her husband preceded her in death 7y2 years ago. Her hobby was sewing and her 11 grandaaughters benefiter from her talent. She is surviveh by three naughters; Mrs. Harolh (Beth Edwards, Milford, Mrs. Budd Munford, Parowan, and Mrs. Milton Sevy, Cedar City. 19 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, one brother, two sis-teers. sis-teers. Burial was in the Parowan Paro-wan City Cemetery. SERVICES HELD FOR LEONE JONES LYMAN, PAROWAN Funeral Services were held Monday, April 10, in Parowan for Leone Jones Lyman 74, former for-mer manager and supervisor of lunchrooms of the Iron County School District. She died April 6th of cancer at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Milton Sevy, Cedar City. Mrs. Lyman was one of the very earliest pioneers in the school lunch program in Utah, working in this capacity for 30 years. She retired in May of 1962 Following retirement she worked six years at SUSC as a "Special Baker" for the Cafeteria. Cafe-teria. She was a member of the |
