Show THIS AND THAT -- WITH PAT Mr. and Mrs. Dale Blain of Salt Lake were in Milford over tUe week end, guests of her brother in law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Wellington. Mrs. Frances Jefferson is in Nevada City, Calif., with her daughter, Mrs. Barbara Peterson Peter-son Miss Ellen Hawley is vacationing vaca-tioning with her sister. They have been in Iowa in their home town, and in Arizona. Mr. and Mrs. Gale Bywater of Salt Lake were house guests of relatives Mr. and Mrs. Don Elmer The couples attended the Masonic dinner Saturday evening. eve-ning. Also here was Walter Miller of Bountiful. Mr. and Mrs. K. B Coon attended at-tended funeral services for Mr Coon's nephew, William K. Coon in Santa Monica, Calif. They Charles and Olive Williams were in Milford and Minersville en route to California. They had been visitng in their former home, Nampa, Idaho They will visit relatives in Southern California Cali-fornia before flying to New Zealand to continue their LDS mission work. Julia Hendrickson is at home for a week's visit with her mother, Mrs. Lucy Hendrickson. Mrs. Lela Rowley was called to Roy, Utah, because of the illness of her daughter, Mrs. Darvell Fielding. Mrs. Rowley returned to Milford after her daughter's improvement. The following children of Mrs Ethel Myers are here because be-cause of the serious illness of Mrs. Myers, who is confined to the Beaver County Hospital: Mrs. Velva Waters and Mrs. Claudia Peterson of Las Vegas, Mr. and Mrs. Oswald Myers of Nehalem, Oregon; Mr and Mrs. Orrin Myers of Altamont have been here Cecil Killam, admitted to the Beaver County Hospital for medical treatment, has been transferred to the LDS Hospital. Mrs. iKllam is in Salt Lake with her husband. Mrs. Lettie Fotheringham of Salt Lake is at the home of a sister, Mrs. Jen Borton, in Beaver, Beav-er, and this week will be in Milford. Mrs. Lillian Fotherng-ham Fotherng-ham of Beaver is also planning a visit to Milford over the Memorial Me-morial Day holidays. Tommy Walker and Lorna Hollingshead are at Bryce where they will be employed this summer. sum-mer. Judy Wilcock and Veda Cox also will be employed at Bryce after the C S U sipring quarter. Mr. and Mrs. Gary Gillins and children of Las Vegas have been in Milford at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Ger-ald Gillins The couple visited in Orem with her relatives and they will return here for the Memorial Holidays. Mr. and Mrs. George Harris of Salt Lake, former Milford residents, were here Wednesday. They were accompanied by their son Lee and his wif. Mrs. D. A Baxtr is now at home after spending the winter win-ter with her daughter Virginia in Salt Lake Mr. and Mrs. H. C. McCuty and son Gary of Kaysville will be here over the Memorial holidays hol-idays They will be guests of her mothe, Mrs Annie Denny, and her brother Douglas. Grandpa and Grandma Harold Har-old Edwards are proud to announce an-nounce the birth of a 6 lb 3 oz son. May 13, to Harry and Gale Hollingshaus, at Freemont, Cal. Mrs. Edwards has just returned from Freemont. Mrs Lula Yither has returned to Milford after spending the winter with a son in law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. John Vollhard, in Las Vegas. Mr. and Mrs. Kent Smith recently re-cently were in Phoenix, Ariz, to call on Melvin and Shirley Persons, and grandchildren. Mrs. Arthur Johnson and children of Layton accompanied Mrs. Sophia Johnson to Milford Tuesday evening. Mrs. Johnson had been in Layton visiting her son and family for the past month. Mr. and Mrs. Keith Long have purchased the home formerly owned by Paul Prisbrey on No. Main. The house was partly destroyed de-stroyed by fire three years ago. The Longs plan to remodel the building, for their home. |
