Show MILFORD CHAPTER OVER THE TOP IN ANNUAL RED CROSS FUND DRIVE Milford is the second Red Cross Chapter in Utah to hit 100 per cent of assigned quota. Monday morning Keith Long, superintendent at the Majestic Oil and Mining Co. Mill just west of Milford, tendered a $200 check to Mrs. Josephine Killam, local fund drive chairman, which upped the Milford contributions contribu-tions to $513.81, or 111.1 per cent of the assigned $473 quota. Delta is the only other Utah Chapter to have reached their 1964 quota. 'We can't begin to express our appreciation to Majestic and to Mr. Long," Mrs. Killam said. Of our assigned $473 quota $247 remains in Milford for local lo-cal Red Cross work, and with the additional moneys we now have available,, we should be able to adequately care for any Red Cross emergency needs that may arise. And of course, if there should be an epidemic or catastrophe requiring heavy financial fi-nancial outlay, the National Red Cross would give us any assistance assist-ance needed. "I am certainly proud to be a pert of the many wondrrful and humane activities of the Red Cross, and along with the ether local workers, and the local lo-cal citizens, I sincerely appreciate appre-ciate the assistance Mr. Long and Majestic have given us in going over the top in 1964."
