Show Services Held in Beaver For Barbara Patterson Funeral services were held Tuesday in Beaver First-Third Ward Chapel for Mrs. Barbara Hutchings Patterson, 42, who died Friday in the Iron County Hospital of a virus infection. The services, under direction of Bishop Joe Kesler, were as follows: fol-lows: Prayer at the home, preceding the services, was by Glenn Black-ner. Black-ner. Waldo Yardley offered the invocation. Musical numbers were a duet, "In the Garden," by Mrs. Anona Swindlehurst and Mrs. Esta Cox; a duet by Mr. and Mrs. Hal Smith, and another duet by Mrs. Cox and Mrs. Swindlehurst. Patriarch Taylor Farnsworth and Bishop Kerksiek were the speakers. Prelude and postlude music were by Mrs. Clara Carter, who also accompanied the musical numbers. Bishop Chase Murdock pronounced pro-nounced the benediction, and the grave was dedicated by Evan Patterson. Pat-terson. The flowers were carried by Relief Society ladies. Pallbearers were Ronald Rose, Mack Patterson, Leroy Lessing, F. W. Galnouer and John Palmira. Pal-mira. Mrs. Patterson was born Aug. ( 21, 1918, in Beaver, to Charles' and Vegas Thompson Hutchings. She married Ralph Patterson Jan. 23, 1935, at Parowan. She was a resident of Beaver until she moved to Caliente in 1944. Surviving are her husband; two sons, Pfc Cullen Patterson, stationed sta-tioned in Germany with the U S Armed Forces, and Jerry Patterson, Patter-son, Caliente; her mother, Mrs Leonard Muir, Milford; brothers and sisters: Ray Hutchings, of Provo; Clark Hutchings, Milford; Mrs. Wallace (Dorothy) Mastros and Mrs. Carlos (Shirley) Brac-amontes, Brac-amontes, both of Torrance, Cal. |
