Show High School Students Invited to Visit U of U Hundreds of Utah high school students will enjoy a special day May 5, when the University of Utah conducts it's annual "High School Day." The students who have any idea that they might attend a university next fall are invited to enjoy the "preview" of university life. Participatants will spend the day with faculty members and Deans who will explain to them the kinds of programs involved in college life and the numerous choices which are available for the student. The transition from high school to college life will be explained and valuable council offered on such items as grade-point grade-point averages and the impact of higher education on the lives of students. Regardless of where the high school student plans to take his advanced study, High School Day at the University of Utah will prove valuable in informing him on how to get a good start in his university life. Highlights of the day will include in-clude receptions, a jazz concert, the Spring Ballet at Kingsbury Hall, and the spring intrasquad football game at Ute Stadium.
