Show i Items of Interest About People You Know Rev. Myrtle White will leave Sunday for her annual vacation. She plans to visit a sister in Texas and a brother in Arkansas. The pulpit at the Methodist Church will be filled by members of the congregation during Rev. White's absence. Mrs. Sheldon Albrecht and ' girls returned to their home in Norwalk, Calif., after visiting in Milford at the home of her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. David Reese. A son, Robert, remained in Milford Mil-ford for a longer stay. Robert and Patsy Stewart and children of Salt Lake were here for two weeks. Mr. Stewart spent a few days here then returned re-turned to Salt Lake. Their son Bobbie remained with his grandparents, grand-parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Leech. Other Stewart children have been taking turns vacationing in Milford Mil-ford during the summer. Mrs. Herbert Blake has been in Las Vegas caring for a new 8 lb grandson, born to Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Dunlap. Mrs. Thelma Derrick and three children of George Air Force Base, Victorville, Calif., are here for two weeks at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs Herbert Blake. Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Myers and granddaughter Dian Slinkerd were recently in Price at the home of Mrs. Myers' daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Darwin Gilger. Mr. and Mrs. Reed Gillins and daughter Elaine were recently in Pocatello, Idaho, calling on the Gillins' son in law and daughter, Norman and Sherie Myers. Mr. and Mrs. Max Williams and family of Magna were here at the homes of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Warren Atkin and Mr. and Mrs. Lester Williams. Mr. and Mrs. Don Ash worth and two children of Orem arrived ar-rived in Milford Wednesday for a few days' visit with Mr. and Mrs. William Ashworth. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Lokey and son and Linda Meeker of Rio Linda, Calif., are expected in Milford Sunday. They will visit at ithe home of erandDarents Mr. Jacqulyn Brinkman, Richard Prodzinski , Exchange Vows Miss Jacqulyn Marie Brinkman and Richard Prodzinski exchanged marriage vows at 12 o'clock noon, Saturday, July 30, in St. Bridget's Brid-get's Catholic Church. The Rev. Fr. J. H. Valine officiated at the nuptial mass. A luncheon was served immediately imme-diately after the ceremony at the home of the bride's parents, to relatives and friends. A reception recep-tion was held in the evening at St. Bridget's Parish Hall. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Brinkman, and Mr. Prodzinski is the son of Mr. Edward Prodzinski of Jamestown, James-town, No. Dakota. The bride wore an original floor length gown made of Chan-tilly Chan-tilly lace, Dresden rose pattern. A tight fitted bodice with long fitted sleeves and scalloped neckline neck-line and the skirt was styled with scalloped ruffled lace over satin. Her crown was also a rose pattern pat-tern with sequins and her veil was waist, length, of silk illusion. She carried a bouquet of white roses with pink rosebuds. Miss Louise Brinkman, sister of the bride, was maid of honor, and Miss Nona Applegate, Miss Joyce Brinkman and Miss Ber-nadette Ber-nadette Brinkman were bridesmaids. brides-maids. Michelle Wisner was the flower girl. All attendants wore original seai'cam blue crystallized taffeta ballerina length gowns, and all carried pink and white roses. The bride's gown and attendants' dresses were designed and made by the mother of the bride. Mr. Don Prodzinski was best man. Ushers were Harold Prodzinski, Prod-zinski, Paul McGinn, Felix Val-dez, Val-dez, Mel Prodzinski and Boyd Horton. The young couple went north for their honeymoon trip. They will make their home in Salem, Oregon. Out of town guests were Louise Brinkman, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Bringman and daughter, Miss Laura Marie Jimerson, Miss Nora Ann Walker, Miss Virginia Baxter, Bax-ter, and Leland Thompson, all of Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Mel Prodzinski, Vern Howell and Felix Fe-lix Valdez, of Mercury, Nev.; Mrs. Kenneth Walterschied of Hereford, Texas, and Mr. and Mrs. Don Prodzinski and daughters daugh-ters of Salem, Oregon. and Mrs. A. H. Connell. Attending the Engineers convention con-vention in Oregon are Mr. and Mrs. Harry Garfield, Mrs. Wanda Holm, and Mrs. Kate Shingleton. Mr. and Mrs. Preston Burnham and four children of Salt Lake spent Tuesday and Wednesday in Milford at the home of Dr. and Mrs. David Symond. Mr. and Mrs. Max Mecham and family will return this week end from a vacation in the Northwestern North-western States. Recent property sold thru the Kirk Realty were the Cliff Bur-bidge Bur-bidge home, sold to Mrs. Lillian Mayer; the Robert Schramm home purchased by Mr. and Mrs. Richard Rich-ard Jefferson; and one of the Russell Mayer farms near Hay Springs, bought by John Jones. Billie Holyoak, 5 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Holyoak of Las Vegas, spent eight days in Milford with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Dell Holyoak. Mrs. John Killam returned home last week end after an extended ex-tended visit with her daughter, Betty Hancock, and her great-granddaughter great-granddaughter Karen Hancock, in Denver. She also spent some time with her brother, L. S. Beard and wife at Grand Junction, Junc-tion, Colo., and visited relatives and friends in Salt Lake. |
