Executive Execu-tive Board and merchants of Mil-ford's Mil-ford's Main Street. The hospital service area was established by the Beaver County Coun-ty Board of Commissioners on July 9. Roughly the area encompasses encom-passes the west end of Beaver County excluding the town and agricultural area of Minersviile. It was announced the next step will be petitioning the Board of Commissioners for a bond election. elec-tion. Il is hoped that this bond ; election can be held Nov. 8th, 'hs date of the general election. At this time, the electorate will be asked to approve a bond costing cost-ing all property owners 4 mills over a period of 20 years. For the average house in Milford, this would amount to about $6 a year additional taxes. Preliminary plans of the new structure are expected in the near future, at which time they will be prominently displayed and further information disseminated dissemi-nated as it is received. The site of the new hospital is a plot in the southeast corner of the fair grounds, given to the hospital (and thus the people of Milford) by the Milford City Council. Members of the Hospital Board are anxious to discuss hospital problems and any questions that any citizen might have concerning concern-ing this new building. They want to attend meetings of any kind, size, shape or description in an effort to make our citizens citi-zens well informed about our hospital. Persons who wish to contact members of the Hospital Board are invited to call the Beaver County Hospital. These volunteers solicit and will welcome help from any direction. |
