Show Cecil j."7-- Hall? (;.:; with U ' ! I SALLIE .. I WILLIAMS L LwJ Here goes another week! There was another jamboree (square dance) at the LDS Church recreation hall Friday night. A lot of kids turned out and had a lot of fun. This to me seems like a wonderful place to spend Friday night. Oh incidentally, I said last, week that these dances would be every Saturday night, but they're held on Friday nights. My apologies. apol-ogies. o L.".st Saturday night a poor sleepy neighborhood finally got to sleep at 5 a. m. Seems like a large slumber party was held on Helen Jean Gillins' back lawn. The night was climaxed with an early 7 a. m. rising, but - uh - some of us didn't get up till 10. The lively girls present were Helen Jean, Mickie and Lucicl Ferguson, Fer-guson, Charlene Wheeler, Sonia Coleman, Sallie Williams and Gen-evra Gen-evra Mcintosh. j Hey, Paul, that's quite a picture! Paul Wyatt's picture was in the . Wednesday Tribune. The article tells about Russell McGinn and Paul's GREAT ability to stack ' baled hay. Gets a person in shape j for playing basketball, or so the story said. I I If you're wondering why the town was a little short of boys for ' a couple of days it's the simple fact they all went up to fight the big fire in the hills. These boys who volunteered ought to have a spe-' spe-' cial recognition. o Charlene Wheeler has returned from working in Grand Canyon. That leaves only six from Milford down there now, but that's OK we're real glad to have Charlene back again. o Sonia Coleman and Sallie Williams Wil-liams are headed down Grand Canyon way for the week end. They're going with Mrs. Munk, Bonnie Easton and the two boys, Richard and Kevin. They'll- first stop in Boulder, Utah, and then on to Grand. o Sandra Beard and Sue Ann Thompson have returned from their business course in Cedar City. Sue Ann came home with her parents, while Mrs. Beard, Terry Fisher, Kay Tolley and Sandra toured Cedar Breaks on the way hqme. |
