Show MILFORP PERSONAL Mr. and Mrs. David Reese and son Larry returned Sunday from a trip to Southern California. They visited at the homes of their sons in law and daughters, Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Albrecht, Nor-walk, Nor-walk, and Mr. and Mr?. John O'Bosky, Redondo Beach. Mrs. F. C. Stott of LrGrande, Ore., has been at the home of her son in law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Blair Coon, helping care for her new granddaughter, born Dec. 26th in the Beaver County Hospital to Mr. and Mrs. Coon. Mr. and Mrs. Ben Cooper and daughter Anna Rae recently returned re-turned from a week's trip. An overnight stop was made in Las Vegas; in San Bernardino they visited Mr. Cooper's twin brothers Lloyd and Floyd and their families; fami-lies; called on Mr. and Mrs. George Dalton and Mrs. Mary Dalton in Long Beach, and Mr. and Mrs. De-los De-los Hollis in Norwalk. Recent visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. A. B. Merryweather were Kristin Lish of Bountiful; Mr. and Mrs. Karl Merryweather and 'Mr. and Mrs. Berdell Cor-bridge Cor-bridge of Salt Lake, and Mr. and Mrs. Martin McPhie of Helper. ' Rose Marie Davie was born to Dr. and Mrs. Eugene Davie, Dec. 19, in an Akron, Colo., hospital. Mrs. Davie's mother, Mrs. Pete George of Farmington, N. M., was in Milford a few days helping to care for her new granddaughter. 9 Sarah Beard is in Los Angeles where she will spend several months with a sister, Mrs. Belle Francis. Relatives of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Lowe visiting Mrs. Lowe during her illness include Mr. and Mrs. Richard Lowe of Alladena, Calif.; Folton Martin of Mariella, Ga., and Mrs. Fred Jueneman of San Jose, Calif. Mrs. Loretta Cline was in Salt Lake last week end, and while there visited her daughter Harriet, Har-riet, a student at the U of U. Mr. and Mrs. 'Leonard Muir were in Caliente Tuesday visiting Mrs. Muir's daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Patterson and sons. Mrs. Leonard Muir recently returned re-turned from Torrance, Calif., after visiting Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Mastros and Shirley. The Lady Firemen will hold their regular business meeting and social in the I O O F hall Friday at 7:30 p. m. Mr. and Mrs. Roldo Turner left for Phoenix, Ariz., to enjoy a week's vacation. Calvin Winn has reentered Milford Mil-ford High School to complete his Senior year. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Orr of Los Angeles visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Van Memmott two days last week. Keith Whittaker has started construction of a new home on South 600 West, which he is building build-ing for' sale. Susan Williams is now employed in the Department of Finance offices of-fices in the State Capitol building. Mrs. iLouree Moore of Salt Lake was in Milford last week end to be with Mrs. Flossie Rickerson on her birth anniversary Saturday. Mrs. Lettie Fotheringham lefl Friday to visit her daughters in Salt Lake. Mrs. Elva Sedgwick has returned return-ed to Milford after spending two months with her son in law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. D. L. Beckwith. She also visited Mrs. Clara McFadden in Salt Lake, former for-mer Milford resident. The JayceeEttes will hold their regular meeting Thursday evening at the home of Mrs. Neil Larson. Mrs. Agnes Clements was a visitor vis-itor last week at the home of her son and daughter in law, Mr. and Mrs. Steve Clements. 9 Myrtle Mills, employed at Ler-ner's Ler-ner's in Salt Lake, is now attending attend-ing a business administrative school in Denver. Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Griffiths and daughter Elaine recently were in Logan welcoming a new granddaughter grand-daughter born Dec. 31 to Mr. and Mrs. Russell Griffiths. a Bob Slinkerd has returned to Milford after attending an A T & T safety meeting in Denver. Fay Limb is at home on a 20-day 20-day leave from his Naval Base at Long Beach. Mr. Limb, his mother, moth-er, Mrs. Clinton Myers, and Mrs. J. E. Slinkerd spent a few days visiting relatives in Salt Lake. |
