Show THI WEEK IN MINERSV1LLE By MARYBELLE EYRE 9 Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Boyter were hosts to the 'following guests: Mr. and Mrs. Karl Boyter Boy-ter of Panguitch, Mr. and Mrs Harold Boyter, Mr. and Mrs. Gecrge Boyter, Richfield, and Mr. and Mrs .Dean Smith of Spanish Fork. Mr. and Mrs. Ross Smith also called on them during dur-ing the day. The Minersville Auxiliary announced at their regular meeting Wednesday that they would sponsor Miss Kenna Lue Kelsey as their delegate to Utah Girls State. Miss Penny Patterson spent her Easter week-end in Salt Lake visitng relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Neil Gresman and family, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Corbridge spent Sunday in Cedar Ced-ar City, enjoying Easter with Mr. and Mrs. Tex Richardson. e Mrs. Alta Kelsey and Kenna Lue have been visiting in the northern part of the state during dur-ing the week. Lester Roberts, came from Oregon Or-egon to be with her. Mrs. Ella Wood and daughter Betty, and Mrs. Etta Rollins and grand-daughter Alice were in Salt Lake from Thursday till Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Robinson were also inSalt Lake this week. Mr. and Mrs. Don Martin are here cleaning and repairing the home of her father, Joe Eyre, who has been in Springville during the winter. This week she had as her Easter guests Mrs. Lavon Edwards and family of Stockton and Mr., and Mrs. Clyde Cook. The Auxiliary met at the home of Mrs. Gertrude Marshall on Wednesday. At the close of the business meeting, conducted by President Gertrude Marshall, Mar-shall, a tasty salad course was served. a Mr. and Mrs. Howard Marshall and Mr. and Mrs. Doug Blackburn Black-burn were dinner guests Thursday Thurs-day evening in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clair Carter of Cedar City. Other guests were: Mr. and Mrs. Ward Carter and Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Osborn. Mr. and Mrs. Lorraine DeMille and Carma Rae spent Friday and Saturday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Jameson. Mr. and Mrs. Royle Wood and family were here Saturday visiting visit-ing their many friends and relatives rela-tives in Minersville. Harold Jameson has been here; over the week-end visiting with his parents, Mr: and Mrs. Mer-ril Mer-ril Jameson. Mr. and Mrs. Doug Farnowand family of Las Vegas were here over the.-, week-end visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Victor Vic-tor Myers. Mr. and Mrs. Noel Wood and Mr. and Mrs,. Ray Murdock spent Easter in Ely, Ruth and McGill, Nev. 9 Mr. and Mrs. Harold Baker and family were dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Jameson on Wednesday. Mr. and Mrs. Hal Jameson of Tooele were here Wednesday to attend funeral services for Mrs Ellen Fox. They visited during the day with Mr. and j Mrs, Harold Baker. Mr and Mrs. Daisel Davis and Shirleen and Mrs. Gertrude Marshall and Elvin were m Salt Lake Friday and Saturday. Mrs. Wilma Davis was guest of honor at a birthday party at her home Thursday. Mrs. Betty Marshall and Jeff Marshall celebrated their birth- Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Craw of Logan and their 'x'amily were here from Thursday until the week-end, visiting with his parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Craw. The Sunday School presented a lovely Easter program Sunday morning with Mrs. June Pearson Pear-son and Mrs. Emma Davis as the speakers. Mrs. Gladys Myers, Mrs. Lorraine Myers and Mrs. Nettie Myers gave scripture readings. The Junior Sunday School furnished the music. The evening Sacrament program pro-gram began at eight o'clock. Speakers for the evening were, David Williams, who told of his experiences in the service, and Delbert Jameson who spoke of . the Resurrection. David sang "I Walked Today Where Jesus Walked." Bernard Jameson and Grant Wood have been in Henderson, Nevada, for afew days this week. Mrs. Elma Blackburn just returned re-turned from a two-week visit in Denver, Colo., with her daughters and their husbands, ' Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Christen- Still ctnu 1V11 . etixu. iviia. nusacu Muir.
