Show By RENEE NORTON After four years of hard work the Seniors departed for Las Vegas on a well-earned holiday. The trip, an ajinual affair, began at 3:30 a. m. Wednesday, as some 47 students and chaper-ones chaper-ones congregated near the Hong Kong Cafe. Breakfast at St. George was the first stop, and lunch at Nellis Air Force Base the second. Seniors and faculty alike have been looking forward to a closeup view of the Air Force procedure, pilots and planes, and to the educational trip scheduled through Hoover Dam. A long evening began at 7 p. m. with a jaunt to the Last Frontier Fron-tier Village, followed by the floor show and a late chuck-wagon chuck-wagon dinner at the Sahara. The group was scheduled to start for home at 11:30 Thursday. Thurs-day. i The traveling assembly cast is eagerly rehearsing under direction di-rection of Student Body Vice President David Bown and committee com-mittee members Iola Young and Sheila Dalton, as they whip the . program into shape for a tour of neighboring high schools. Outstanding talent from all classes will represent M H S to the theme "The Big Record." Campaign time rolls around again, with preliminary arrangements ar-rangements being handled by Kaye Labrum, acting election chairman. Students have been divided into two camps, with party meetings and selection of candidates scheduled for April 21, Kaye announced. The primary elections will be held April 5 and the results announced that evening at the Cub-Ette dance. |
