Show MILFORD Society - Clubs DOROTHY FOTHERING-HAM FOTHERING-HAM entrained her pinochle club Thursday, June 20th. Marion Mar-ion Turner tock first prize, and other winners were Retha Cam-peau Cam-peau and Zelda Coon. Others present, who were served a tasty cold plate, were Earlene Jefferson, Gayle Gale, Arlene Paice, Glenda Fowles, and Nadine Jones: THE MEMBERS of Milford Valley Parlor 21 of the Past Presidents of the G I A met on June 22nd at the home of Mrs. Wanda Holm. A short business busi-ness meeting was held, conducted conduct-ed by President Eva Banks, and the group recessed for the summer. sum-mer. The hostess served a delicious de-licious dessert. The rest ot the evening was spent playing bridge. Prizes were won- by Ethel Smith, Catherine Shingleton and Gar-netta Gar-netta Hollis. The house prize was drawn by Virginia Fowles and Rosalie Klein received the guest prize. Other members present were Eva Banks, Marvel Connell, Mrs. Ethel Killam, Florence Barnes, Magdalena White and Garnet Garfield. Mr. and Mrs. Gene Turner have purchased the home for- I merly occupied by Mr. Turner's I mother, Mrs. Bertha Gehring. Mrs. Gehring has moved to Caliente. Mr. and Mrs. Nate Smith plan to purchase the home formerly for-merly owned by Mi, and Mrs-Warren Mrs-Warren Johnson. Mrs. Bill Henderson, Mrs. Al Bealer, Mrs. Jack Morrison, Mrs. Lillian Nelson and Mrs. George Bush spent a pleasant day last Thursday with Mr. and Mrs. Harry Freeman at their ranch home in North Creek. |
