Show DICK MANZIONE NAMED UTAH LEGION CHIEF Joseph A. (Dick) Manzione, Beavor City postmaster, was elected Commander of The American Legion Department of Utah on the final day of the annual state convention, last Saturday at Spanish Fork. Installation followed shortly after the election. Commander Manzione was nominated for the office by Dr. John R. Murdock, member of Beaver Post No. 32, in an address ad-dress that extolled the new commander's Legion activities since he became a charter member mem-ber of the Beaver Post, including includ-ing efficient service in every I post office and as district commander, com-mander, and cited particularly Commander Manzione's com- ! munity service. William A. Low was installed as District 7 commander, and Janell Farrer as District 7 Auxiliary president. Steve Williams of Milford Post No. 16, retiring district commander, received the Clem I Schramm Award as "outstand-I "outstand-I ing district commander" of the state for the past year. |
