Show : J Milford Jaycees Double I Membership During ! National Jaycee Week j The Milford Jaycees doubled their membership during Jaycee ! Week, it is announced by Dr. D. A. Symond. While Jaycee organizations on a national basis bas-is were endeavoring to obtain five new members per club, the Milford group signed up 15 new Jaycees. At their regular meeting last Tuesday, they accepted the Football Field Bleachers as their No. 1 long-term project, and began planning for the annual Teen Age Roadeo with Wally Fotheringham as chairman. The Milford club, it is said, was the first club in' Utah to complete "Operation Civic Service," Ser-vice," having completed more than the required quota of new civic projects assigned for the j "operation." Russell Mayer of South Mil ! ford has been selected as the club's Outstanding Young Farmer Farm-er for 1957. j |
