Show I Bob Osborne Gets DSA Award from Beaver Jaycees Bob Osborn was named as the Beaver young man who has contributed con-tributed most to his community during the pastyear, .when the Jaycees selected him as the recipient re-cipient of their 1957 Distinguished Distin-guished Service Award. The presentation was made by Karl Farnsworth at the annual DSA banquet la.st Saturday evening. Jim Morgan accepted the Outstanding Young Farmer award from Jack Swainston, and gifts were presented to the three Beaver "Voice of Democracy" Democ-racy" winners, Sonja Dean, Ruth Fillmore and Dianne Smith.' Ttd Anderson of Salt Lake, state Jaycee president, was the speaker of the evening. Paul Nielsen, president of the' local club, also presented service awards to the Beaver P;ess, the Lions Club, Beaver City, and Elva Hodges. - More than 100 persons attended attend-ed the banquet. |
