Show Shingle ton Garage Demolished by Truck The Verne Shingleton garage ,aa Railroad Row in Milford i turned into a cracker box about 9 o'clock Wednesday morning when a sheep water truck failed to make a turn and crashed into it, folding the garage up like it was made of cardboard. The truck, driven by Sheldon H. Daniels, 43, of Ephraim, was loaded with large tanks of water wat-er tor the Bagnall sheep herd, ranging west -of Milford, and was being brought into town for repairs to the brakes. The driver driv-er was cited for "failure to control con-trol vehicle" and "driving with faulty brakes," according to City Marshals Floyd Winn and Ronald Gals-, who investigated. Daniels started down Center S.reet hill, and was unable to control the heavy truck when he reached a stop sign at the Main Street intersection. The truck continued another block east, and in attempting to turn at the Company Row intersection, the truck tipped over on its side, wrecking the garage. I Damage was estimated at $500 to the Shingleton car, parked alongside the garage; $150 to the garage, and about $200 to the truck. |
