Show IIATiMON V. Weather beautiful, no snow, Thomas Dalton of Cedar City is here for the holidays. The students from the Normal school are spending the holidays at the home fireside, A weight party was held here Christmas Christ-mas night, the man with the heaviest girl having to pay the most. John Kinsley has returned from an extended absence In Salt Lake City and is visiting his Swiss friends in Harmony. On the 2Gth inst. there was an old folks party given in the meeting house. The hall was nicely decorated with (lags, and the program consisted of songs, music, speeches, eto. A fine supper was prepared to which the old folks did full justice. A Christmas tree celebration was held in the school house on Saturday evening, December 23rd, which was opened with the Christmas Chorus by Levy Pace, and Misses Alice and Villo Redd. Prayer was then offered up by Alexander Pace, after which a group of little children sang "Santa Glaus." The long-looked-for Santa Glaus then appeared aud began the distribution of the presents. All present enjoyed themselves well, the children winding up with a dance, |
