Show ROCKVILLE Miss Marcia Terry Mrs. Philetns Jones Reporters (Too late for last week's News) Mr. and Mrs. Vinal Millett were recent visitors from Salt Lake City, guests while here of Mr. and Mrs. Art DeMille. Miss Joyce Perry, who has been visiting her sister, Mrs. Irving Dalton, returned re-turned with them as far as her home in Cedar City. Vinal Millett came with his brother, Ira Millett from Salt Lake City, bringing with them a load of piping for their place at "the Pines". Miss Robin Hirschi returned on Wednesday, June 27, after spending spend-ing a week in St. George with her aunt, Mrs. Willard Bleak. Mrs. Hyrum DeMille and daugh-t daugh-t e r , Theora, returned recently from Los Angeles. The boys who left for the U. S. training service have been assigned as-signed to the following camps: Orval N. Russell and Alpine DeMille, De-Mille, Ft. ; Francis E. Warren, in Wyo.; Alma Cox, Sheppard Field, Texas; and Lorraine DeMille, at Camp Claybourne, La. Mrs. Irving Dalton is in Cedar City visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Haight. Her father was injured by falling from a wagon, having broken several ribs. Mrs. Robert Snow of Mapleton, arrived last week with her brother, broth-er, Riley Hirschi. Their mother, Mrs. Mary C. Hirschi is ill, and Mrs. Snow is here to care for her. Mrs. Warren Hirschi returned Thursday from Boulder City, where she visited for several days with Mr. Hirschi, who is employed em-ployed there and with her son, Melville Hirschi and wife. Mrs. Maurice Orton and child ren, Keith, David and Lois, of Panguitch, are in Rockville visiting' visit-ing' Mr. and Mrs. Levi DeMille and family. Mrs. Alton Jones is in Salt Lake City under a doctor's care. Raynold, LaDawn and Drew Jennings motored to Las Vegas last week end to visit their father, James Jennings, and to attend the Helldorado. Charles O'Brien came down from Ogden over the week end to get Mrs. Dalton. Mrs. Marvin Terry spent last week in Salt Lake City transacting tran-sacting business and in Ogden visiting vis-iting her two daughters, Barbara and Dorothy. Mrs. Philetus Jones returned Saturday from Las Vegas, where she visited for a week with her husband and son, Garth, and wife. Her daughter, . Mrs. Harold Cannon Can-non and daughter, Colleen of St. George returned with her for a visit. Mr. and Mrs. Russell Mahan and two children arrived Saturday night from New Mexico. They are crating their furniture to ship to Aztec, N.M., where they will make their home permanently. Mrs. Worth Wood of Cedar City is here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Guy DeMille. Her husband is in the U. S. military service. The Ballard brothers and sons are out at Cane Beds looking after their cattle. Mrs. Robert Albrecht of Las Vegas visited in Rockville Monday over Wednesday. Her brother, Arden Hirschi returned with her. Mrs. Albrecht is the former Donna Hirschi. Mr. and Mrs. Philden DeMille and their mother, Mrs. Hyrum DeMille returned recently from a Coast vacation. They were accompanied ac-companied home by Miss Thora DeMille, who will spend her vacation va-cation here. |
