Show Aviation Cadet Select Board To Be Here Ved. High School Graduates Between Ages of 18 To 26 Eligible To Apply By M. J. MILES The Aviation Cadet Selection board will be in St. George Wednesday, Wed-nesday, June 17th, to conduct mental and physical examinations for applicants for enlistments in the Air Corps Enlisted Reserve. The board will be set up in the college building and the mental examinations will be given at 8:15 in the morning. All high school graduates between be-tween the ages of 18 and 26 are eligible to apply for this enlistment. en-listment. It is urged that all those eligible apply for this enlistment en-listment for the following reasons: Reasons Given 1. All applicants for CPT training train-ing must be . in the Army Air Corps Enlisted Reserve Corps. 2. Members of the Air Corps Reserve will be permitted to remain re-main in college until graduated with the A. B. degree or its equivalent, provided this graduation gradu-ation does not take more than four years. 3. Members of - the Air Corps Reserve are not subject to draft. 4. No member of the Air Corps Reserve will be taken off the reserve re-serve status until he is of draft - age. 5. Members of the Air Corps Reserve will be permitted to pursue pur-sue any course of study while in college, but specific courses such as meteorology, photography, ord-anance, ord-anance, engineering, etc., are rec-commended. rec-commended. 6. Participation in CPT does not affect the reserve status of any member of the Reserve Corps. The Army Air Corps Enlisted Reserve has the full endorsement of the college, and it is recommended recom-mended that all high school graduates grad-uates and other eligibles apply for enlistment.
