Show SANTA CLARA Sliss Amanda Graff Reporter The Dutchettes club met last Thursday at the home of Mrs. Cecil Frei. Pinochle was played with honors going to Mrs. Spencer Spen-cer Reber and Mrs. June Gubler. A Scout meeting was held here Sunday evening. The program was very good. The Swiss camp of the D. U. P. held their meetings at the home of Mrs. Crayton Leavitt last Thursday evening. Dale Tobler went to Fort Douglas Doug-las to join the air corps last Sunday. Miss Roma Reber of Washington Washing-ton is here with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Reber. Miss Lavon Adams is here with her sister, Mrs. Earl Tobler. LeGrand Frei is leaving for the armed services this week. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Nelson were here over the week end visiting. Our ward Relief Society members mem-bers are very busy making quilts for the war relief and Church Welfare programs. They are to make fifteen quilts. Old fashioned fash-ioned quilting bees were held at five different homes last week to make quilts. Mr. and Mrs. Vivian J. Frei have received word that their son, Shelby Dean Frei is leaving for overseas duty. Grant Graff and Mrs. Calvin Stucki have returned home from the McGregor hospital. |
