Show Earl 6. Bassett Dies Here After Long Illness Death came at 5 p. m., Tuesday in the local hospital to Earl B. Bassett, 52, from Kidney complications, compli-cations, following an extended illness ill-ness from heart and lung ailments. ail-ments. Mr. Bassett, who with his wife have been in St. George less than a month, is a native of Walla Walla, Wash. They had been in Anaconda, Mont., and Phoenix, Ariz., before coming here. Mrs. Bassett is the former Edith Reissing. She married Mr. Bassett Bas-sett Oct. 10, 1936. Surviving besides be-sides his widow, are three children child-ren by a former marriage, Mrs. Inez Kropp of Rock Island, 111., and two sons, Pvt. Gilbert Bassett Bas-sett and Pvt. Gene Bassett, both in overseas military service. Plans for funeral services and burial await word from Mrs. Kropp. |
