Show Cadet Ernest Bradshaw And Miss Maxine Barrett Marry In Salt Lake Married in the Salt Lake L. D. S. Temple on Nov. 3rd, were Cadet Ernest Bradshaw, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Bradshaw of this city, and Miss Maxine Barrett, daughter of Mrs. Mahonri Butter-field Butter-field of Riverton. The couple became be-came acquainted while serving as L. D. S. missionaries. Attending the Temple ceremony were the parents of both bride and groom and Mr. and Mrs. R. B. Shurtliff of Hinckley, and Mr. and Mrs. Cams Lortz of Salt Lake City, brothers-in-law and sisters of the groom and a number num-ber of other close relatives of the bride. Following the ceremony the two families honored the couple with a wedding dinner at the Temple Square hotel. The table was centered with a three-tiered wedding wed-ding cake artistically decorated by Mrs. James McArthur of this city. In the evening the bride's parents par-ents entertained at a large reception re-ception in the Riverton high school recreation hall. A large crowd of relatives and friends attended and enjoyed the short program and dinner. Cadet and Mrs. Bradshaw left the evening of Nov. 4 for Chicago where he is in military training as an Army special training student stu-dent in the electrical engineering division. He has been enrolled in this training since August, and was granted one week's furlough which made possible his marriage to Miss Barrett.. They will reside in Chicago until Cadet Bradshaw finishes h i s present schooling, which is along the line of his special interest. Before entering the Army he graduated from the Dixie junior college and filled an L. D. S. mission. |
