Show YEYO Mrs. J. F. Cottam Reporter Stake Sunday school board members, mem-bers, Naomi Carr and DeVaughn Jones were Sunday school visitors here Sunday. A Primary convention was held here Sunday afternoon for Veyo, Gunlock and Central. Stake board members were present and each ward was well-represented. A number of people from here attended the special Temple session Friday evening. The weekly excursions ex-cursions under the direction of Fred Lang are very well represented. repre-sented. Mrs. Fred Chadburn, who has been seriously ill in St. George for the past month, was brought home last week. She is still confined con-fined to her bed, but is convalescing conval-escing nicely. Kenneth Leavitt returned home from the hospital last week. He is improving rapidly. Mrs. Barbara Wall, accompanied by her friends, Mrs. Gertrude Unger and sister Mildred, arrived in town Sunday for a few days' visit on their way from Dear- ; born, Mich., to Los Angeles. Mrs. i Wall is a daughter of Mr. and I Mrs. John H. Horsley. ; Mr. and Mrs. Evan B. Cottam ; and son and Mr. and Mrs. Willard I Milne were guests Sunday after- j noon of their parents, Mr. and I Mrs. James F. Cottam. A farewell party for Mr. and Mrs. Monroe Wallace will be given Tuesday evening. They plan to leave Wednesday morning for : Mississippi. Melbourne Cottam, son of Mr. S and Mrs. James F. Cottam, re-j re-j cently joined the U. S. air corps, ; according to word received here. He is now in the state of Wash-! Wash-! ington attending school for six months prior to entering into the i regular Army air training. |
