Show Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Seegmiller j of Cedar City announce the birth of a son, Tuesday, Dec. 26. The grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Seegmiler of St. George. Mrs. Verle Kelsey of New Harmony Har-mony spent Wednesday in St. George visiting relatives and friends. Miss Ila Holt returned Wednesday Wednes-day to Salt Lake City where she will resume her studies at the University of Utah. Her father J. LeRoy Holt was home from Boulder City Tuesday. Miss Fern Starr is home from the U. S. A. C, Logan visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Robert Rob-ert is on furlough from Chanute Field, 111. Miss Myrtle Henderson left Saturday for Los Angeles to visit her sister, who is ill. Mr. and Mrs. Stuart Hamblin of Los Angeles are guests of Mr. and Mrs. LaRue Emett at Sweet's Ranch, Pine Valley. -V- -V, n- -A- -i- Mrs. Maria Piatt is here from Newcastle spending the holidays with her sister, Mrs. Mary H. Seegmiler. Mrs. H e b e r Thompson and daughters and her mother, Mrs. Glenn Peterson, are here from Logandale, Nevada visiting. Mr. and Mrs. Peterson recently moved to Las Vegas to make their home. ;K. .It TSgt. and Mrs. Ralph Shelf have returned to California after visiting for several days in Santa Clara with Mrs. Shelf's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Hafen and other relatives. Sgt. Shelf left St r.pnroA with tVio 1 1 ith ITnorc in March, 1941 and has been overseas over-seas for three years. He wears the good conduct medal and combat com-bat awards. ;;. Rosenbrook and son Jimmie arrived last midweek mid-week from Salt Lake City to spend the holidays with Mr. and Mrs. Vern Cannon, parents of Mrs. Rosenbrook. JC M- .34. IT Mr. and Mrs. Ray Schmutz and two small daughters, Janet and Dian, left Monday for Logandale where they will remain through the week with Mrs. Louie Wells, mother of Mrs. Schmutz. At Mrs. Aritone Nelson, Mrs. Andrew An-drew Laub and Mrs. Clark Nisson entered the hospital on Dec. 21 for surgery. Miss A 1 o t h i a McArthur of Wasco, Calif, underwent surgery at the local hospital on Dec. 22. Mrs. Moroni Bowler of Gun-lock Gun-lock entered the local hospital on Dec. 25 for medical treatment. |
