Show St. George Morris Dies In Sacramento Calif. Relatives in St. George were advised ad-vised Dec. 20 of the death that day of their brother, St. George Morris, 77, at a hospital in Sacramento, Sacra-mento, Calif, following an extended extend-ed illness. Funeral services were held in the Sacramento L. D. S. chapel Saturday Dec. 23, with burial in the Sacramento cemetery. ceme-tery. He was the son of Richard and Emma Packer Morris, born Oct. 5, 1867 shortly after they moved to St. George. After his marriage to Mrs. Mary Alger Ashby, he filled a two-year mission to the Southern states. Later he filled a six-month mission in California. They moved to Salt Lake City from St. George and later to Sacramento where they have resided for several years. Surviving besides his widow are two sons, Richard, with the armed arm-ed forces in Florida, and Clark of Sacramento; three grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. George Whitehead, White-head, Mrs. M. W. Andrus and Mrs. S. C. Hardy of St. George. |
