Show WASHINGTON Mrs. Caddie Neilson Reporter Mrs. Mary Jolley and daughter, Ida, had as their guest for the past week Mrs. Jolley's daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Libby of Los Angeles. They returned re-turned to their home Sunday. Mrs. Karl Williams and children of South Gate, Calif., are here visiting at the home of her parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Staheli. Mr. and Mrs. Mart Iverson and family have returned to their home in Los Angeles after a week's visit here with their mother, Mrs. Eva Iverson and other relatives. The M. I. A. officers presented a splendid program in their conjoint con-joint meeting Sunday evening. Mr. and Mrs. W. O. Nisson met their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Anderson in Kanab Sunday, where they spent the day visiting. The Andersons were enroute to their home in Salt Lake City from Tucson, Ariz., where they have spent the past ten months. Mr. and Mrs. McKay Neilson returned to Los Angeles Friday after a week's visit with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Israel Neilson Neil-son Jr., and Mr. and Mrs. A. K. Hafen in St. George. Irene Prisbrey has returned from visiting in .different parts of California the past two months. Two of our Navy boys are home on leave. Ivan Sandberg, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. T. Sandberg from the South Pacific and Bill Turnbeaugh, with his wife and family from San Francisco. v Mrs. Ray Spendlove was hostess host-ess to her Rook club Wednesday afternoon. Mrs. N. S. Sandberg entertained the I. O.M. club last Thursday afternoon. High scores going to Mrs. W. O. Nisson and Mrs. Wil-lard Wil-lard Neilson. I Mrs. Lydia Stephens entertained her Sunday school class at a party at her home last Saturday evening, eve-ning, i Mrs. Jennie Hall has returned home from visiting in the northern north-ern part of the state. A large group of relatives attended at-tended the testimonial given for John T. Neilson Saturday evening eve-ning in St. George, prior to his entering the mission field. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Hall made a trip to Salt Lake City last week to get their daughter, Ferral, where she had employment during the summer months. Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Williams were Sunday visitors in Kanarra. |
