Show Wilford Lenzi McAllister Dies In Sacramento Relatives in St. George were advised ad-vised over the week end of the death of Wilford Lenzi McAllister McAl-lister Saturday at his home' in Sacramento, following a third stroke. He has been ill for several sev-eral years. Born in St. George, July 2, 1882, he was the youngest son of John D. T., and Cornelia Lenzi McAllister. He had his early schooling in St. George and later graduated from the B. Y. U., majoring maj-oring in piano and voice. In the fall of 1908 he married Miss Lucille Young of Provo in the Manti L. D. S. Temple, his father, who was then president, officiating. He taught music in the schools of Salt Lake City and St. George for several years before be-fore moving to California in 1930. Surviving besides his wife are one son, Lieut. Clair McAllister, who is overseas on military duty; two sisters, Mrs. Jane M. Moss and Mrs. Annie M. Whipple; and one brother, Martin L. McAllister, all of St. George. Funeral services serv-ices and burial were in Sacramento, Sacra-mento, Sept. 5th. . |
