Magazines and newspapers should be wrapped separately in small rolls or flat packs that can be readily handled and should be tied with strips of overall or worn rayon hosiery. According to reports there will also be a drive in October for rags, which are vitally needed. It would be a good idea to begin to sort and lay aside rags any day this month, so they will be ready for the drive. Waste househould fats are being be-ing shipped out from St. George continuously. Again, people are urged to save all waste fats in good open-top cans and turn them over to the butcher shops. |
