Show HURRICANE Mrs. Vernet Hinton Reporter Florence Beatty has been visiting in Cedar City returning home last Friday. Erma Stevens and Luetta Imlay returned Friday from three weeks' vacationing in Portland, Ore. Donald Woodbury arrived Wednesday Wed-nesday on furlough from an Arizona Ari-zona camp. Mrs. Orval Hibbert and Mrs. Clayton Hibbert of California are here visiting their parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. P. Woodbury. Jim Spendlove came Tuesday from the Panama Canal Zone. Cliff Spendlove left Tuesday to resume his duties in the armed forces. Lyle Godby of Panama is here visiting Mr. and Mrs. Walter Spendlove. Mr. and Mrs. Allen Stout attended at-tended the funeral service at St. George last Thursday for Hyrum Thompson. Mary' Webb of Gabbs, Nev., is here 'visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arvil Webb. Mrs. Marguerite Lake of Salt Lake City and two children are here visiting w ith Mrs. Chloe Beatty. Mr. and Mrs. Cal Robb of Cedar City spent Tuesday in town visiting. vis-iting. Mrs. Owen Beatty spent the week in Las Vegas visiting her sister. Winston Gibson who has been employed at Hill Field, returned last Thursday evening to report to the Army in the near future. Mr. and Mrs. Arbon Hall of Cedar City spent the week end at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lafayette La-fayette Hall. Eldean Hartley is here on furlough fur-lough from the Navy. Mr. and Mrs. Elwin Stout of Salt Lake City are here visiting Mr. and Mrs. A. F. Stout. Mrs. Gerald Stout and children of Las Vegas came Sunday to spend a week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Cleveland LeBaron. Mrs. Lester Barnum of Mes-quite Mes-quite is here visiting her mother, Mrs. Chloe Beatty. Mrs. Earl Coleman ' of Basic, Nev., is here visiting for a week with her mother, Mrs. Flo Wright. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Hall and . children of Salt Lake City ar- rived Saturday to spend a week with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Hall. Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Bowler of Gunloek spent Tuesday visiting Mr. and Mrs. Grant Woodbury. Mr. and Mrs. Morris Cook of Salt Lake City visited over the week end at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Gibson. Mr. and Mrs. Emerald Stout and family of Basic, spent the week end visiting in town. Gwen Sylvester came home last week from school at Provo. Two wards mot jointly Sunday in their meetings and Mr. Jepson bore his testimony of how proud he was of his 11 grandsons in the service for their country. There were five babies named Sunday, Sun-day, four boys and a girl: Sons of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Wright, Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Langston. Mr. and Mrs. Woodrow Jepson, Mr. and Mrs. Delroy Guymon of Ventura. Calif.; and the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Barratt. |
