Show SPRINGDALE Mrs. Arnold Euesch Reporter Mrs. Verna Gifford is spending two weeks with her husband on Cedar Mountain. Vernon Ruesch, who has been home on a short furlough, has returned re-turned to his military post. Mr, and Mrs. Leon Mitchell left last week for California, where he is stationed with the U. S. Navy. Mrs. Ruth Gifford and three children have returned home after spending the week in Cedar City with her parents. Arnold Ruesch has moved to St. George where he has employment with Hall Brothers. Oscar Johnson has returned from Las Vegas where he has had employment for several months. Callis Crawford left for Salt Lake City this week to stay with his grandmother. He has been in Poor health for several months and was advised by his doctor to change climate. Edwin DeMille moved his wife and infant daughter home from St. George last week. Most of the men from here are employed at Toquerville and Leeds Picking peaches. Word was received by relatives in Springdale of the birth of a daughter to Mr. and Mrs Davis of Ogden. Mrs. Davis was the former Verda Crawford. Mrs. John Ruesch, Mrs. Arland Udall and Mrs. Arnold Ruesch made a business trip to St. George Monday. Margie Gifford made a trip to Hurricane on business over the week end. Miss Harmoine Hoyt is here visiting vis-iting her brother, Von Hoyt. Wesley Hardy is employed at Sun Valley. Ward Primary officers and teachers held their August preparation prep-aration meeting at the home of1 Mrs. Sterling Seegmiller. Mr and Mrs. Whitford Gifford Gif-ford made a trip to Hurricane over the week end to get medical help for their small son, who has been ill for several days. lone Gifford and Mrs. B. P. Wulfenstein spent a few days here last week visiting with friends and relatives. . Wilma Justett returned home from Hinckley. Conjoint meeting of the M. I. A. was held at the ward chapel, Sunday, Sun-day, July 25th. Graduation exercises of the ward Primary were held last Sunday night. |
