Show WASHINGTON 5Irs. Caddie Neilson Reporter Mr. and Mrs. V. H. Iverson have returned home from Los Angeles after spending several weeks there visiting relatives. Ward conference was held Sunday Sun-day with Vivian J. Frei representing repre-senting the Stake presidency. He was accompanied by Ernest Tobler and Mrs. Frei and Mrs. Tobler. Mr. and Mrs. Levi Neilson have returned home after taking their son, Gar to Salt Lake City. Gar has been home on a furlough from the Navy. Mr. and Mrs. Marion Jolley were visitors here from Las Vegas on Saturday. John Tanner, who has spent the past couple of months in Idaho where he had employment, returned re-turned home on Wednesday. Mrs. Frank Hafen was hostess to the I. O. M. club on Thursday afternoon. A special feature of the afternoon was the exchange of Christmas gifts. Mrs. Archie Tobler, Mrs. William Wil-liam Miller and Mrs. Clark Nisson who have all been seriously ill, are improving. Clive and Cleave Neilson, twin sons of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Neilson Neil-son left last week for Salt Lake City to join the Merchant Marines. Ma-rines. Mrs. Evan Sproul of Las Vegas was a visitor at the home of Mrs. Aggie Sproul on Sunday. Mrs. Eugene Whitney of Paro-wan Paro-wan is here visiting her mother, Mrs. Barbara Zahner. Mrs. Clayton Williams entertained enter-tained the Rook club on Wednesday Wednes-day afternoon. The Pinochle club met at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Woodrow Staheli on Saturday night. A large audience attended the M. I. A. play given here on Tuesday Tues-day evening. |
