Show Dixie College News The Dixie high school basketball team is invading Nevada for a three-game practice series this week. Included are Las Vegas on Wednesday, Boulder City on Thursday and Moapa Valley on Friday. The Flyers split the two game series last week, winning from Moapa Valley last Thursday 18-14, 18-14, and losing to Lincoln County high school Saturday 29-26. The locals showed spurts of good ball in both games. In the Saturday game the Flyers led 19-11 at the half, when the subs took over. The visitors gradually broke down the lead, and though the regulars played the last few minutes of the game for Dixie, Lincoln was not to be denied the victory.
