Show News from Our People I In the Armed Services By MABEL JARVIS In Mariana Islands The Mariana Islands are beautiful, beauti-ful, says Ervin Gifford SC 3c of Springdale, but he would rather have a little part of Southern Utah. He has been across two years and is making no fuss but has his ideas about countries and people. He says that it is easy to forget for-get dates and a lot of things when one is so far from home, but he has been able to keep contacts because of the regular arrival of his county paper, even though it is often late arriving. It might even be called history instead of news, at times, he says, but if so, this is the first time he has enjoyed reading history, his-tory, for he really does enjoy getting his paper. The News staff appreciates his very interesting letter. Pa ?a Word From Pfc. Trentham From the Station Hospital in Camp Haan, Calif, comes greetings greet-ings and best wishes from Pfc. Trentham.
