Show Fenley Charged With the Murder of Koyal S. Hunt, Pleads 'Not Guilty' Vae Monroe Fenley, the alleged murderer of Royal S. Hunt, was arraigned before District Court Judge Will L. Hoyt on Dec. 1st, and charged by the state with the murder of Mr. Hunt. The case is being prosecuted by District Dis-trict Attorney E. J. Pickett and County Attorney Andrew Pace. R. J. Shay was appointed by Judge Hoyt to represent Fenley, who entered en-tered a plea of not guilty. With the entering of a plea of not guilty, it will be up to the state to prove him guilty, even though arresting officers are alleged al-leged to have secured a signed confession by Fenley of his guilt, following his arrest Tuesday noon, the day after the murder is said to have been committed. Judge Hoyt set the date for the trial to begin on January 6. He also authorized the impanelling impanel-ling of a jury of 75 jurors to be called from which to select the jury. . |
