Show Mr. and Mrs. Henry W. Hall To Celebrate 5th Wedding Anniversary Here Mr. and Mrs. Evan Cottam of this city will be hosts this (Thursday) (Thurs-day) evening to family members and a few intimate friends in celebrating the fifty-seventh wedding wed-ding anniversary of Mrs. Cottam's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry V. Hall, who are here from Miners-ville Miners-ville to spend the winter. Mrs. Hall, whose maiden name was Lucy Eyre, was born in Min-ersville, Min-ersville, Utah, Oct. 24, 1S6S, a daughter of Lucy Ann Wood and Benjamin Eyre, L. D. S. converts from England. Mr. Hall was born in Toquerville, June 12, 1S62, a son of Jobe and Jane Walton Hall, early pioneers to that Mormon colony of Washington county. They were married in the St. George Temple, Dec. 4th, 1884, and except for seven years as missionaries mis-sionaries to the St. George Temple from Beaver stake, they have made their home in Minersville, where they reared a family of eleven children, eight of whom are still living. Much of their time the past five years has been spent visiting with their children and they still like to spend their winters win-ters in St. George, doing Temple work, when they are able, and visiting among their friends. Resulting from their years spent in Dixie, four of their children were graduates of the Dixie junior college and were active in music, educational and student affairs of the institution. j |
