Show TOQUERYILLE I Mrs. Bowena W. Slack Reporter Mrs. L. S. Kleinman left Tuesday Tues-day for northern Utah for a short time. The Ladies' Sewing club met at 1 the home of Mrs. Harvey Theobald Theo-bald Thursday evening. Mrs. Leslie Bringhurst entertained enter-tained Monday afternoon at a birthday party for her daughter Miss Patsy. Visitors at our Sacrament meeting meet-ing Sunday afternoon were Mr. and Mrs. R. D. Adams of Hurricane. Hurri-cane. R. T. Higbee celebrated his 82nd birthday Tuesday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Rhea Wakeling at Cedar City. The celebration was a family dinner with twenty-three twenty-three in attendance. Work was commenced on the erection of the D. U. P. monument Tuesday. It is to be unveiled on December 13th, when the Sarah Willis chapter will be hosts to the camps of Washington county, the county officers and representatives represen-tatives from the state committee. Mrs. George Bringhurst enter- 1 tained Saturday afternoon for her ' Sunday school class. : The Seagulls of the Primary en- ' tertained the Bluebirds and the Larks Wednesday afternoon. Clarence Theobald returned on Monday from Salt Lake City, where he has been for the past three months. v |
