Show 'Community Sing' !yi'f;ii!.t By MAE PACE Next Sunday evening, exactly at eight, We're expecting you, and you mustn't be late. It's the 'Community Sing' we're telling about, For young folks and old folks, and when we shout; 'America, I Love You', or "The Utah Trail', You'd never guess that some of of us are frail. So we'll meet you next Sunday, And we'll make the hills ring; With music and mirth, At our 'Community Sing". It has been suggested that clubs and organizations challenge each other to a five-minute sing. This would be a fine thing. A different differ-ent organization sing each Sunday night and at the end of the summer sum-mer we would let it be known which had had the most in attendance. at-tendance. As a special feature next time Mrs. Mack Jackson will sing the prize-winning song written by D. C. Watson Jr., entitled, "Waiting "Wait-ing for You". |
