Show Legion Elects Orlin Brockbank Commander The election of officers for the ensuing year took most of the time of Lester Kcate Post No. 90, American Legion at their meeting held in the Legion hall last Monday Mon-day evening, July 6. Voted in for the 1942-43 term ns Commander was Orlin Brockbank, with Ray Bcntloy as first and Dee Keate as second vice presidents; Kumen D. Williams adjutant; Guy Hafen, chaplain; Gordon Mathis, sergeant-at-arms; executive committee, com-mittee, Henry Pickett and Ambrose Am-brose Cannon, and entertainment chairman, Vernon Wort hen. The outgoing officers include Kenneth M. Cannon, commander; Vivian Milne and Hyrum Gubler as first and second vice presidents; presi-dents; O. B. Fry, adjutant; Gordon Mathis. chaplain; Ralph Westover, sergeant-at-arms; executive committee. com-mittee. Alfred Bateman and Ie-Roy Ie-Roy H Cox, and Ambrose Cannon as entertainment chairman. This is the last of the meetings for the season and concluded with reports and a short program. |
