Show NEW HARMONY Mrs. O. Hammond Mrs. L. MatbJs Reporters The Fourth of July was fittingly celebrated here with a well-prepared program in the forenoon and sports in the afternoon. Out of town visitors for the holiday were: Mr. and Mrs. Anthony An-thony Foremaster and sons; Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Webb and family; fam-ily; Mrs. Myron Jones and baby; Mr. and Mrs. William Cottam and family; Mr. and Mrs. Royal Blake and family; Mr. and Mrs. Hale Pierce and Mr. and Mrs. Nelson Pierce; Lucile Snow; Fayone Seeg-miller; Seeg-miller; Mrs. Bob Pierce and Mrs. Helen Bleak and children, all of St. George. Mrs. Susie Taylor and family of Cedar City; Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Lawr-ence Prince of Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Davies of Kan-arra Kan-arra and Mrs. Dean Macfarlane and children of Las Vegas were also visitors. . Mr. and Mrs. Reese Davis and Jerrold Pierce have gone to Salt Lake City to visit relatives. Mrs. Lyle B. Prince and daughters, daugh-ters, DeLora and Dorothy left on Sunday for Yellowstone Park. Mr. Prince, who has had employment in Wyoming, will join them there and they will spend a week touring tour-ing the park. Mrs. Victor Miller and son, Norman, Nor-man, returned to their home in Lehi, after having spent the past two weeks here at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. F. Mathis. Mr. Miller came from Lehi to take them home. . Mrs. M. O. Woolsey received word that a baby girl had been born in the Iron county hospital to her daughter, Mrs. Berniece Gordon. Mr. and Mrs. Verl Kelsey and Mr. and Mrs. Cannon Huntsman have gone on a fishing trip. . Mrs. Horace Hall and baby were brought here from the Iron county hospital. They are at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hall. Our boys, Vivian Prince and Wendell Mathis who were recently drafted are home on ten days' leave from Fort Ttouglas. Dee Farnsworth went to Pioche the fore part of the week on business. |
