Show Mrs. Rulon Langston returned to her home in Pipe Valley Wednesday, Wed-nesday, after spending ten days in St. George on business. Miss Nellie Snow of the Shev-wit Shev-wit reservation, Santa Clara underwent un-derwent surgery at the local hospital hos-pital Oct. 13th. ? Cold days ahead. Mrs. Mary Cottam Emmett is here from Richfield helping to care for her father, Charles S. Cottam, who ' has been seriously ill the past three weeks. Mrs. Emmett brought with her souvenirs souven-irs recently received from her son, Cpl. Frank Emmett, who is in New Guinea. All the gifts are his own handiwork. She has another an-other son, Dean Emmett, who is S2c, and is serving in the Pacific Pa-cific area. JUST ARRIVED a load of shrubs for Fall planting. Eric Snow entertained the Bleak family members last Monday night' in honor of Cadet and Mrs. Lloyd Bleak. Dinner was served in the outdoor patio. Mr. and Mrs. Earl J. Bleak entertained Wednesday evening at their home in honor of Cadet Bleak. Frank Holland arrived Tuesday from Washington, D. C. and will spend a month in St. George with Mrs. Holland and their children. |
