Show Election Results Told By Grazing Service By J. CALVIN CROFT Acting District Grazier The United States Grazing Service Ser-vice announces the results of the recent Advisory Board election held in Cedar City and St. George. The newly elected members are as follows: Kumen S. Gardner, New Castle, Precinct 2 Cattle; Le Roy Larson, St. George, Precinct 3 Sheep; and Archie P. Spilsbury, Toquerville, Precinct 4 Cattle. Mr. Gardner and Mr. Spilsbury were re-elected and Mr. Larson 1 replaces Ward Esplin. Thousands of sheep and cattle are rapidly moving to lower ranges for winter. Due to the extremely dry weather, few of the stock water reservoirs contain con-tain water and it has become necessary to haul it to some of the herds. All the available wells are being pumped to help relieve the situation. The range is dry in Washington county, but Iron county is reported re-ported as a whole, to be about the same as last year. Recent sjhowers are causing some fall growth. |
