Show Miss Helen Cannon and Anthon H. Madsen Recite Marriage Vows The marriage of Miss Helen Cannon Can-non and Anthon H. Madsen was solemnized in the St. George L. D. S. Temple at 3:30 p.m., on Monday, Dec. 22, with Pres. Harold Har-old S. Snow performing the ceremony cere-mony in the presence of many relatives and friends. Immediately following the ceremony cere-mony the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Cannon, honored the couple at their home with an informal wedding dinner and reception, re-ception, with relatives and a few intimate friends attending. Centering Cen-tering the dinner table was an elaborately decorated three-tiered wedding cake, gift from the groom's mother, Mrs. Nellie Madsen Mad-sen of Mt. Pleasant, who has been guest at the Cannon home for the past week. Some of the decorations decora-tions on the cake cake came from England. For the dinner the bride wore her wedding gown, a princess model of white slipper satin with circular train, and trimmed with covered buttons. Her boquet was of rosebuds and gardenias. Late Saturday evening the couple left for a honeymoon, their destination untold. They will return re-turn to St. George to make their home-. Mrs. Madsen is a graduate of Dixie junior college, where she was prominent in the music department. de-partment. She is an accomplished stenographer and pianist and is employed in the recording department depart-ment of the St. George Temple. Mr. Madsen is associated with j Woodbury and Cottam, contrac-; tors of St. George, with whom he! has had employment for the past I IS months. i |
