Show La Verkin Winferd Gubler Reporter Mr. and Mrs. John A. Judd, La-fell La-fell Iverson and Winferd Gubler attended the Municipal League convention at St. George Thursday Thurs-day and Friday, reporting a fine time. They also attended the banquet ban-quet at Zion park and state the lodge dining facilities were taxed to the limit to accommodate the large crowd present. Mr. and Mrs. Brigham Hardy have had as their guests this week, their two daughters, Mrs. Stevens and Mrs. Merrill of Las Vegas. Returning to Price, Utah, from the St. George Municipal convention, con-vention, Mr. and Mrs. Nick Ber-nardi Ber-nardi and Mr. and Mrs. J. Bracken Lee called on the Reids and took Mrs. Maud Reid and children, Carol and Don, to Manti. Sheldon Gifford, Kiel Hardy and Keith Wallace made a trip to Idaho seeking work and failing there, they went for a trip on up to the northwest, then down the coast to the fair at San Francisco, stopping at Los Angeles before returning home. Miss Dawn Graff has returned from working in Salt Lake City to prepare for school. Willard and Orrin Duncan are home from the sawmill at Mt. Trumbull. Miss Pauline Fuller has gone to Manti to teach this year. Norman Fuller is spending a few days at home from Wickley-ville. Wickley-ville. Ovando Gubler has accepted a position on the teaching staff of Hurricane High. Mrs. Geneva Segler and Mrs. Vilate Hardy were chosen to act on the Zion Park stake mutual board. They did some outstanding work in the ward here last year. |
