Show James Jepson Honored On His 85th Birthday Monday, August 28, friends and relatives of James Jepson, began celebration of his eighty-fifth birthday anniversary at a social party given in the Hurricane north ward chapel. Entertainment consisted of a program prepared and presented by members of his family and friends, games and later dancing. Mr. Jepson, born August 28, (Continued on page four) James Jepson Honored (Continued from first page) 1854, at Salt Lake City, is an early pioneer, who came to this section of Utah in 1S62 at the age of eight years. He was very active in the early activities and progression of building the town of Hurricane and had until recent years, served as president of the Hurricane Canal Board. Friends from Las Vegas, Cedar City and Centerville attended his party. |
