Show MRS. MAUDE SIU LTZ DIES AT l'ORTLAXn, OREGON" Mrs. Maude Shultz passed away in a hospital at Portland, Oregon according to word received by relatives rela-tives here last Thursday night. She underwent an operation of a very serious nature two months ago from which she never recovered. recover-ed. Maude Riding was born in St. Gecrge, July 24. 1SS3, a daughter cf E. T. and Melinda Barlow Riding. Rid-ing. She spent her girlhood here where she attended school and re-. mained until after her marriage' to Joseph iShulz in February 1901. j To this union the following child- ! ren were born; who now survive: her. Mrs. Nick Hubber, Mrs. Ot-! to Fisher, Delias and Garnet of! Butte, Montana and Mrs. Georgia Meckle of Washington. Also i eight grandchildren. Her husband passed away twenty-five years ago and she has devoted her time to caring for her fine family. Mrs. Shulz came to St. George (Continued on last page) MRS. She had been in a poor condition of health for some time. Funeral services were held and interment in-terment was made at Butte, where she has made her home the past thirty years. She is survived by the following brothers and sister: Mrs. Delia Pearce, Mrs. Emma Hemenway and Fred Riding of St. George; Mrs. Caddie Ashworth of Beaver; Mrs. Bessie Stewart of Morgan Hill, California; E. T. of Stockton, California; Tom of Tooele and Melvin of Benjamin. Utah. |
