Show GUNLOCK MRS. MARY B. LEAVITT Reporter Funeral services were held here Thursday for Elden Barnum, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Barnum who after a long and severe sickness sick-ness of about four months died on Tuesday, December 6. There was a large attendance at the services and friends from Mes-quite, Mes-quite, Nevada and Veyo were in attendance. at-tendance. Burial was in the Gun-lock Gun-lock cemetery. Albert Holt of Enterprise passed through here Friday night on his way home from St. George. His sister, Camilla accompanied him home over the week-end. Wilford Holt went to St. George Friday evening, his1 son, Milton accompanied him down and1 his son, Andrew -and daughter, Ber-niece Ber-niece came home with him to spend the week-end. Truman Bowler also spent the week-end at home. Mrs. Narvel Bracken of Central is visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. F. J. Bowler. Mr. and Mrs. Burt Laub of Las Vegas are visiting Mrs. Daub's parents, Mr and Mrs. Charles Barnum for a few days. Mar Bracken went to Las Vegas Friday on business. Leland Martineau and John Hunt made a business trip to Bunkerville, Nevada during the week after a load of salt. Our post master, J. LeGrand Bowler has been doing some improvements im-provements on the post office this week. Glen R. Webb the principal of our school attended the principal's princi-pal's convention i n Hurricane during the week. |
