Show 1 Elementary School Notes! Tuesday the entire school gathered in the gymnasium for the Washington's Birthday program pro-gram which contained contributions contribu-tions from all grades. The program pro-gram was as follows: Selection from the Elementary school band, directed by Mr. Ford-ham; Ford-ham; Recitation, Lynette Madsen; vocal duet. "Our Flag". Enid Smith and Arthur Tillihash; "Washington". Beth Baldwin: Flag Drill, second grade boys and Lester Cannon and Jordan Smith; "Our Flag". Mary' Lu Carter; Acoustic, third grade: chorus, "The Sword of BunkerhiU". soloists. solo-ists. Audrey Paxman and Gay Graff; reading. Dixon Bradford: Washington Day address. Maurine Bentley; groop singing accompanied accompani-ed by the band and Flag Salute. Mr. Cannon's Sixth Grade Last Thursday. Mr. Lamb came and talked to us on cooking food. On Tuesday Mrs. Cannon came and talked on "Vitamins". It was one of the most interesting talks we have had. On Tuesday. Feb. 22. Mrs. Marie Cannon talked to us on "Food From a Health Standpoint". Stand-point". We surely appreciate their willingness to talk to us. Fri-Mrs. Fri-Mrs. Truman gave us a cij -talk on "Buying Food ". Weli. practically finished the sruij v: food. I |
