Show BcnkenrfHe, &y. Mrs. Mary H. Leavitt Kqpwtar The Virgin Valley high school dramatic club presented the play, "Moon River Ranch" to a crowded crowd-ed house Monday night. It was directed by Alan Peterson, with specially prepared scenery designed design-ed by Mr. Peterson. Special music was by C. A. Miller, music instructor in-structor at the school. It was very well done and much applauded by the audience. The cast of charc-ters charc-ters was as follows: Dock Kennedy, Ken-nedy, Derold Jensen; Samantha Carson, Rose Hafen; Calamity Carson, Owen Hughes; Bavone Trevore, Lavoid Leavitt; Curly Fisk, Max Abbott; Jerry Sanford, Marva Bunker; Beatrice Haven, Maxine Abbott; Gene Hampton, Billy Pulsipher; Mary Scott, Jennie Jen-nie McKnight; Inez Holcomb, Marell Reber; Phyliss Taylor, Pauline Oliver. The pipe for our water sys-' sys-' tern of three miles arrived last week and a force of men are at work installing it. About three more days will bring it to the diversion tank which will be built as soon as the water reaches there. The material is on hand for the completion of the tank, capacity of which is 100,000 gallons. gal-lons. James S. Abbott returned from Las Vegas yesterday, where he had been for treatment of his eye for removal of some object that got into it while he was working at sawing wood. Evan Waite returned from Las Vegas hospital where he spent the last week for medical treatment. treat-ment. He is much improved and able to be about his work. The Relief Society has a group of singing mothers who have regular re-gular practices and expect to learn the songs listed for them They sang a number in sacrament meeting meet-ing on Sunday, "Prayer Perfect." |
