Show CANE BEDS MRS. JOS. T. WILKINSON Reporter School election was held here Saturday. Mrs. Lillie Perkins was elected trustee taking the place of T. H. Love who is moving away soon. General election, Tuesday passed off very quietly in our little town. Most everyone seems pleased with the returns. Mrs. Julia Leithead and Miss Berta Perkins entertained the Ladies' Sewing club last Wednesday Wednes-day at the Perkin's home. A dinner din-ner was served at noon to twenty-one twenty-one ladies. The afternoon was spent n sewing and visiting. Little Barbara Stock has been quite ill for several days with stomach trouble. Mrs. Julia Leithead left for California on Saturday. Kenneth Wassell came in from California last week hunting work. He is staying at the Palmer Pal-mer home at present. Waldou Ballard of Rockville spent the past week here looking after his cattle. |
